Hoping to boost attendance and broaden its base of supporters, the Oz Museum launched needs a new way of advertising its collection. Attendance have been diminishing over the past years and need a colourful, informative and eye-catching brochure to entice people to the museum. You have been hired by the museum to create a brochure to showcase its unique collection. The Oz Museum wants you to promote its unique pieces but they are not sure what would be interesting for people. Is your museum going to be for younger children, kids around your age, teenager or adults. You are to choose a well-known historical event or a famous Australian explorer that you are learning about in class to base your museum on. The brochure you will be creating must be completed in Scribus and it must be a 3-fold brochure. The "Z" fold (accordion) or Trifold (Letter Fold) are the types of brochures the museum prefers.

There might be a certain time in history that you have found fascinating that you could research and incorporate at the Oz Museum. Apart from the artifacts and information, think about what people would also like at the museum, such as interactive shows, special exhibitions, eateries and gardens. There are examples of brochures available in class to give you ideas about what you could place inside or outside your the museum. Look at the examples closely and ensure that you fulfill the criteria. Once you have completed your brochure upload it, as a PDF, to your own Wikispace page.
